Start your shopping tour right here.

Recently, I left the S-Bahn at Zoologischer Garten in Charlottenburg. From here, I have been started my Shopping tour down the famous boulevard Ku´Damm. I don´t know why but I felt immediately in love with these beautiful boulevard.

It´s so lovely to walk around and discover all these awesome shops, bars and cafés. Let me suggest you a restaurant around the Ku´Damm. It´s called Vapiano, get in and you will never leave Berlin!

Historical and Memorial Site of Berlin: House of the “Wannsee Conference”

“As the decision to murder the European Jews had been made earlier the »Wannsee Conference« was concerned with the organisation and implementation of “The Final Solution”, the decision to deport the Jews of Europe to the East and to murder them. The meeting has become known as the “Wannsee Conference”. In 1947 the minutes of the Conference recorded by Adolf Eichmann were found in the files of the German Foreign Office.”
Visit this Memorial “Am Großen Wannsee” and join young people from all over the world to learn more on the significance which the history of National Socialist crimes has in our own time.

The place of the “armed men”: Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin Mitte

Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin´s “Mitte”: Gens d’armes (Fr., “the armed men”), nobles who served as “bodyguards” of the king and had their headquarters here in Berlin. The name comes from French models. A squadron of “Brandenburg Gens d’Armes” was formed in 1691. The site was created around 1700. Once a poor neighborhood but now again one of the most beautiful squares in Europe. Based on parts of the place the square was named “Schillerplatz” (1871-1936; Photo; referring to the writer Friedrich Schiller).
